Microchipped, DOB: Oct. 10, 2013 Mystie is a calm and quiet cat but she will greet you with a friendly chirp. She is an affectionate cat, but on her own terms. Mystie expects lots of pets and scratches from her humans when they wake up, so the morning is a good time to brush her. She will be purring a lot! She isn't a lap cat (yet), but she often sits/lies near us. Mystie likes to nap most of the day on a big comfy pillow or couch, but she has a playful side too. Her favorite human-supervised toy is a wide green ribbon that she likes to chase and fight when we pull it around. She also likes spring toys and a soft mouse toy. Mystie sometimes scratches the couch (she hasn't shown interest in the scratching post yet) but she prefers to scratch our doormat. She loves to sit on a windowsill and watch the birds, and she'll often make a quiet chattering sound as she "hunts." Mystie was in a shelter in Quebec before we fostered her. We don't know what her life was like before that. We think she was a well-loved cat as she warms up to new people very quickly. She has no litter box issues and is diligent in grooming herself. Mystie is a big sweetheart and we've loved fostering her over the past few weeks. It took her about 3 weeks to really come out of her shell. She's like a part of the family now and we know she’ll bring lots of happiness in her forever home!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mystie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
