My story

Onyx is a laid back dude who just wants to cuddle in your lap. He was found living outside a rehabilitation facility for substance abuse. Onyx was a great comfort for many of the patients who would frequently sneak him into their rooms overnight. He’s great at cuddling and is a wonderful listener – a comforting combination! However, some people didn’t like cats and were mean to him, so ABC rescued him from this unstable life. Onyx LOVES to cuddle in your lap, he will purr nonstop and sometimes even drools a little because he's so happy. If you are considered a match for the pet you are interested in, you will be contacted. A home visit is REQUIRED. Voicemail messages are retrieved periodically, but please note, we DO NOT RETURN CALLS regarding the status of adoption questionnaires. Our administrative staff is volunteer based, thank you for your patience and understanding. Included with adoptions – spay/neuter, vaccinations, blood test for FIV/FELV, microchip, food sample, collar, and post adoption support.
