My story

Indio is a friendly, affectionate, mellow and happy go lucky 4 year old shepherd mix looking for his new home in the Colorado area. Not just a pretty face, Indio is house trained, walks nicely on the leash and enjoys car rides. He gets on well with everyone he meets, and is especially fond of his new doggy pals. We think he would really enjoy having canine siblings, but if not, we know he'd make friends with all the local dogs quickly. He recently went on a camping trip, and he was a very well behaved boy! He especially enjoyed the water, he loved to swim and splash around! If you like to take trips to the beach, we think Indio would jump at the chance to join you! Indio is medium energy, and enjoys hanging around the house and taking a nice afternoon nap. But if you want to go out - he's always ready to join you. Indio just likes to feel like a part of a family, and he really loves being around his people. Indio doesn't know many specific commands, but he is an obedient boy and he wants to please his people. He listens well and is attentive, and tries to figure out what you want him to do! He is very treat-motivated and so we think he could pick things up fast. His foster folks adore him and have told us they think he's a true superstar. We know he will make someone an amazing companion. Indio is 4 years old, 67 lbs, and ready for his forever home!
