Bert & Ernie (bonded pair)

My story

Hi there! We're Bert and Ernie, and we're a bonded pair of super sweet, playful, friendly, cuddly, loving DSH fellas who were born in March 2021. (Bert is the mostly black with white tuxedo, and Ernie is the mostly white with black bicolor.) We love it when foster Meowmy loves on us, scratches our chins and cheeks, and gives us belly rubs. Then we reciprocate by turning on our purr motors, which sound like perking coffee pots. We spend our days playing soccer with ping-pong balls and seeing how high we can jump. We love and are very bonded to each other. We play with balls with bells, catnip mice, and wand toys as well as chase each other up and down the cat tree. When we're all tuckered out, we crash and burn, i.e. sleep and snuggle together. Foster Meowmy feeds a colony of feral cats in her back yard. A few days after foster Daddy found me (Ernie) swimming in the pool, I (Bert) wandered up to find out where my favorite bro had disappeared. So we were both scooped up and rescued as little tykes from living the feral cat life. We immediately took to being indoor kittens. Clean litter box – check. Fresh water and yummy food – check. Climate-controlled air - check. No seeking shelter from the rain - check. A cozy bed to sleep in – check. Lots of love, hugs, and kisses from Meowmy and Daddy - check. Now we know about living the dream. We get to spend the day playing and taking naps together. While we would love to stay here, we know that foster Meowmy will be returning in person to the office soon and will need to take long business trips. So it’s time for us to find our forever home in order to continue living the dream. We’ve not been around children or other pets (other than each other), but we both just love to be around people: we're so congenial that it doesn’t take us long to warm up to foster Meowmy's friends. So now that we're ready for our furever home, I hope you'll arrange to meet us. We hope to be adopted as a bonded pair because we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. We look forward to meeting you to impress you with our sweet, friendly, and fun-loving natures. Let's live the dream all together! Bert and Ernie are updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for their indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Their adoption fee is $225 for the bonded pair for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends.
