My story

Welcome to Raven and Ember! We took in this pair (sisters from the same parents born one year apart) by Sandoval County Animal Care in Rio Rancho, NM – they were found wandering the desert and were held safely (unfortunately outdoors) until we could arrange emergency transport to Arizona. They are some of the most matted intakes we have ever had – we spent several hours cutting out the matted chunks in their tails, on their legs, and their whole backends. They are timid and shy, but so sweet. We had full medical workups done to check their blood and check for various diseases and these girls are very fortunately in the clear! Ember and Raven currently must stay together, they are very very bonded – Raven is more outgoing and has been helping Ember come out of her shell.
