My story

Doug the Puggle Beagle Lab Mix . I am a chunk who started at 39.2 that is down to 36.lbs and I am 16ins tall. I am not a small little Pug Just so you know there is no guarantee what breed I am so if you’re looking for hypo allergenic dog ..I DO NOT FIT THE BILL I SHED… I am 7yrs old per my vet and I do act my age I am housebroken Neutered/vaccinated /heartworm neg/fecal negative/microchip/Dental done/ 2 skin tags removed/1 mass due to an injury on foot {Tested and not cancer} I am crate trained (I decided to go into one that is here, but I am not crated) I must have been in a crate in my previous home and do well in it I am a super friendly pup and love the attention of people and would probable do great with kids 6 years and older. I love softie toys but should be supervised as some of them I tear apart, I just love my tennis ball and usually like to carry it to a lot of places so be ready to pick up my ball should I drop it. I play fetch and do bring it back; I love to roll on my ball both on the couch and roll in the lawn. I LOVE TO BE WITH ME PERSONS so if you let me into the yard, I will probable run back if you do not join me I seem to be a very non-confrontational dog with other dogs and if they growl, I walk away. I do chill and lay down around other dogs and sometimes I get a little excited as time goes on and want to play. My foster Mom says I would do best as an only dog because I do have attachments to my toys which can lead to issues with other pets.. I do hang with the resident dogs who are 12lb BUT I am in a controlled environment. My name is now Doug, I listen to that name and this was found out be accident I am possible a runner when I am allowed off leash, I was found running with another dog. I bark when you leave me but do settle down and just hang out so apartment living may work and with time, I may stop all together as I feel comfortable. I do get to sleep on the furniture here and have multiple dog beds and love to play snuggle with you on the couch. . I am looking for my perfect family who will love me furever could that be you? I do have an adoption fee to cover my vetting and to help save the next pup. I am fully Vetted/spayed/Microchipped/Heartworm Neg/fecal negative also under flea/tick treatment as well I am looking for my perfect home within 50 miles of Chicago Illinois an application and home visit a requirement I am such a good doggie!! We also know the excitement of finding a pet that could be your furever family member and we receive numerous inquiries from other families who feel the same way. **Our primary goal is matching the perfect family with our pups and do not practice first come, first serve**. Do not be offended if you’re not the right fit we can work with you or recommend another rescue. ** We are setting up many meets and greets with our pups and the family could be found prior to you even getting to meet them. We will make sure all potential adopters who inquired are updated if the pup has been adopted.
