My story

Hi, I’m Nigel—and I’m a big ol’ lovable hound dog-and I am a Priority Pet!I’m about 80 pounds of gentle, goofy charm with a heart as big as my paws. I’m not the kind of guy who wants to be cooped up inside or in a crate all day—I love being outside! A big fenced yard where I can sniff, explore, and stretch my legs would be a dream come true for me.Like a true hound, my nose is always on a mission. I follow scents with purpose, and I’ve got some classic hound vocals that I don’t mind showing off now and then—think of it as my way of singing you a love song. ??I’m not overly clingy, but I am loyal and love spending time with my people. I’d be happiest with someone who enjoys outdoor adventures as much as I do. I’m great as the only dog, but I’ve also gotten along well with calm dog friends.I’m healthy, happy, and ready to find a forever family who will let me be the free-spirited, nose-to-the-ground explorer I was born to be.
