My story

Meet MJ, a hard-to-find female ginger-colored kitten! Almost all orange-colored kittens are males so MJ, her sister Mimi, and mom Meow Meow are rarities indeed. MJ is always ready to play wrestle with her siblings Morris and Mimi. MJ sports a beautiful ginger color on her back and the upper face and legs and a beautiful white contrasting belly, paws, and lower face. She is ever so curious and is wondering what her "fur-ever" family will be like. In the meantime, she is spending her days cuddling with her siblings and being the recipient of great love from her foster family. A couple of her photos show her when she was just a newborn. BBMHR rescued MJ's mom Meow Meow while she was expecting from a concrete-cutting company in Riverside, which seems to attract expectant felines as Meow Meow was the second pregnant cat that BBMHR has rescued from there. MJ and her siblings were born in mid-April. Her mom was blessed by already finding her fur-ever home. MJ and her siblings have been vaccinated, dewormed, spayed/neutered, and microchipped and they are now available for adoption. This affectionate kitten is being fostered in a private home. We are a rescue and not a shelter so we do not have a facility. We hold regular weekend adoption events at PetSmart located at 32413 Temecula Parkway, Temecula, CA 92592. Adoption fees for kittens are $125 and $50-75 for adult cats. Kittens will be sterilized (spayed/ neutered), vaccinated, microchipped, FIV and FeLV tested, and ready to go to a loving forever home! Please note that the adoption fees do not cover the full costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, veterinary visits, medications, food, kitty litter, and more that BBMHR absorbs. Additional donations are appreciated and tax-deductible as per our 501(c)(3) charity status. We understand that not all adoptions work out for a variety of reasons such as current pets in the home reject the new cat or kitten, someone may turn out to be allergic, changes to your living situation, etc. We accept all of our animals back and will refund the adoption fee for one month. Please understand that we are all volunteers.
