He came to us from a crowded shelter and was briefly adopted before being returned due to his owner’s health. The shelter was overwhelming, and he shut down, but a loving foster family helped him decompress—and that’s when the real Topaz appeared.He’s housebroken, crate trained, and well-mannered in the home. He loves squeaky toys and will happily toss them around on his own. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive with a confident canine friend. Topaz can be shy when meeting new people and may bark in busy or unfamiliar places, but with patience, he becomes a loyal, snuggly companion. He’s lived with a respectful teen and met younger kids, doing well with both.Topaz isn’t a dog who demands attention.
