Meet Oakley. This 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix is the total package—sweet, social, and full of heart. Oakley has a gentle, easygoing nature and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids, making them a great fit for a family home or a household with canine companions. Huskies and Husky mixes are very special dogs with unique requirements. They often have the inclination to roam and can be great escape artists. Huskies need to be active and do best with adopters that can help them burn extra energy with fun training. They can have strong prey drives, and while every dog is different, many huskies will chase cats and livestock. Grooming is also an important part of their routine, brushing them several times a week can help prevent their undercoat from matting and keep them looking their best.
