Microchipped, DOB: June 28, 2021 Hi, I’m Mathilde! I was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). It’s a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller or underdeveloped. Some people call it Wobbly Cat Syndrome because we CH kittens tend to “wobble” and tumble. There is no treatment, but the good news is that it will not get worse as I get older and it’s not life-threatening. I have a slight head tremor but can eat and use the litter box on my own. I have a slight head tremor and have a wobbly walk. I love to run on carpet and play with my siblings, and I don’t let my stumbling stop me from having fun. To whoever is lucky enough to adopt me, I will need rubber mats to help me get around and protect me when I take a tumble. I’m a bit messy too, but who wouldn’t be messy in my wobbly state! My foster mom wants me to tell you that I’m a super sweet kitten and very worth the extra trouble.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mathilde, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
