My story

Hi, my name is Caprice and my family and I came from a backyard breeding operation that was busted up. Me, two other moms and two puppies were taken out of the backyard kennels and into awesome foster homes. We are now known as the Hot Rods! I have the BEST wonky ear and my pretty markings on my face make me look so unusual! I am good with other dogs but tend to play rough, and have been busy learning my manners! I am a fun, good girl who, like most of my breed, is very strong and athletic. However, I can rock a pair of jammies, or head out to hike. Whatever you are up for!! ADOPTION FEE: $200 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) A $100 hold fee is required for approved applications and will be applied to the full adoption fee at the time of the home visit. ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: Estimated 1-2 years FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes, male dogs around her size; can be solo CATS: Yes, dog savvy CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over simply because I am big and strong. INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
