Starburst

My story

Starburst is a male, small mixed breed (used in a puppy mill to make what was sold as "toy aussies." Often these dogs are Papillon mixes but we don't know the breeds for sure. He is shy and scared and needs patient owners and a securely fenced yard to recover from his life in a puppy mill. Starburst is 17 pounds, very submissive , not aggressive, lets you pick him up, and is 7 years old. He is very shutdown and does not move around the house or ask for attention. He needs adopters with a quiet home that will allow him to recover from his puppy mill past at his own pace and recognize that he may never act like a "normal" dog. ARM has fully vetted him and he had 11 teeth removed. All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.org. All dogs have an adoption fee of $300 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family.
