Bella

My story

Bella has a sad story. She lived with her humans for the first 10 or so years of her life. She had a very close bond with her dad, but unfortunately, the wife was not a fan of having cats in the house. When her dad died, the wife put Bella in the garage. Bella lived in the garage for about 2 years and when the wife went into a nursing home, the family started to look for a new home for Bella. Bella went to live with another elderly lady in June of 2021. Bella took a couple of weeks to settle into her new home, but eventually learned to love her new human. Unfortunately, that situation has changed and Bella is once again looking for a new home. Bella has been an only pet her entire life and tends to get stressed easily so she needs a quiet home as an only pet without children. She may be happiest with an elderly man that has cat experience, however she also loved her previous adopter, who was an elderly woman. Bella may take some time to settle in to a new home, but once she does, she is a lap cat. Bella does enjoy her personal space so there are some spots that she prefers not be touched and she is not afraid to let you know about it. Bella has had a full veterinary workup and other than being obese, she is healthy. She does need someone that will help her stick to her diet and not give in if she begs. She is declawed, current on vaccines, negative for FIV and FeLV and current on flea treatment. She recently had a dental done and her blood work all looks good.
