Shyla

My story

Shyla is a beautiful 5-year-old brown tabby. She joined the Chance at Life family back in May of 2016 with her sisters, Rhianna and Pasha and put up for adoption on June 1, 2016. All found their furever homes within 2 weeks and we were very happy for them. Sadly, Shyla's owner has returned her to us for "personal" reasons and Shyla is again looking for her furever family. Shyla can be picky with her toys, but loves to play fetch with fuzzy plastic toys that rattle. She can be shy at first, but friendly after she warms up, she turns in a big mush and lap cat. Shyla prefers routine such as being fed around the same time and having her litter box cleaned regularly. She will give a "Thank you" nudge when being fed and always bathes herself before bed. Shyla enjoys a variety of scratching posts, pads, etc. and loves to lay on the base of a cat tree as well as the top cushion of a couch. Being a cultured young lady, she enjoys the sound of a piano playing. Shyla has been kept up to date with her exams and vaccinations over the past 5 years and has even had fecal tests run that were all negative. Unfortunately, she has put on a quite a bit of weight over the years, so we are addressing that with a diet change. We do not know if Shyla will get along with other cats since she has been living alone for the past 5 years. It may work with proper introductions and socializing. She has lived with children. Please consider giving this beautiful, robust, young lady a second chance at finding her true furever family. DOB 3/31/16 Up to date with vaccinations, spayed and FIV/FeLV/HWT negative. You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. If you live in a parent or guardian's home, they must complete the application. An application does not guarantee an adoption. Our cats and kittens are not adopted on a first come, first served basis, but whom we feel would be the best fit for our cats and kittens.
