My story

Well hello! My name is Aspen, and I'm a sweet, affectionate, energetic, playful, outgoing, and inquisitive seal point Snowshoe/ DSH mix gal with stunning Liz Taylor eyes who was born in September 2020. I'm a "Velcro kitty" who absolutely loves to stick close to my human; in fact, I can be like a dog because I like to shadow my human around the house. I love to "chat" with my foster meowmy to get the attention I crave. I'm a teenage playgirl! My favorite part of the day is when my human dazzles me with interactive toys. A good, long nighttime session just before bedtime makes me sleep like a baby! I was adopted as a kitten from a shelter with a litter mate; however, as time passed, I decided that I didn't want to share my human's attention and started getting in spats with my sister. My meowmy made the difficult decision to find a new home for me since I'm the beauty of the two and I need to be an "only child" in my new home. In addition, I didn't get along with the resident dog when I was fostered prior to my adoption, so I'm sure that my new home should have neither other cats or dogs. I haven't been around kids, so my compatibility with children has not been tested. However, since I prefer a calm, quiet, stress-free environment, I'd say that I would not object to older children who are experienced with handling pets. All I need is home where I can relax and let my sweet personality shine. Since most Snowshoes would be devastated if they are left alone all day, it would be best if my new human is a retiree or works from home. I hope that my sweet face and sparkling blue eyes have attracted your attention and that you'll arrange to meet me today. I can't wait to show you how nifty I am with feather wand toys. I promise to leave little paw prints all over your heart! Aspen is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No declawing permitted.
