If interested, please complete the adoption application on our website (SaveABowWow.com). Please, no calls or texts. If she’s listed here, she is available. All applications received will be carefully reviewed to place her in the best home for her specific needs. Jipsy came to rescue super young in age after being used to produce litter after litter of “mini frenchies”. She had to undergo emergency life saving surgery for a hernia & tumor (see attached photos). Surgery was a success. Unfortunately she had to have a second surgery with a specialist to repair her hip which after an injury caused by another dog. She has fully healed and recovered (though when her hair grows back she may have a scar). She also got elective nares surgery done so she could breathe better with ease. Jipsy is potty pad trained, doggy door trained loves toys and is super playful. She loves to hang out with you and follow you around and lounge on the couch with you. Jipsy loves her foster family and loves to play with other dogs! She is shy to strangers initially when meeting at which time she will bark and run to someone she trusts, then with food or snacks she will immediately change her mind and be your best friend. She’s highly food motivated so we suspect she would be easy to train to do tricks. She’s on the very small side (14 lbs) for a Frenchie and is very agile. She can jump really high so we make a point to remind her not to jump. Very playful dog, super loving and will snore and cuddle right up next to your pillow at night. Jipsy is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. She breathes fantastic after her nares surgery was performed. She it an excellent dog that anyone would be lucky to have. Jipsy is incredibly loved by her foster family and has been a positive experience and joy to have around. **The reflected adoption fee is only a very small portion of the thousands we have spent on her medical bills** She is a an awesome girl and small/compact size to take with you everywhere! NOTE: OUR RESCUE REQUIRES NEW OWNERS TO OBTAIN A PET INSURANCE POLICY ON ANY FRENCH BULLDOG WE ADOPT OUT TO ENSURE THEY WILL RECEIVE CARE SHOULD SOMETHING ARISE. WHILE THERE ARE NO CURRENT HEALTH CONCERNS, THIS IS PREVENTATIVE.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jipsy (tiny, 14 pounds), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
