My story

Diamond (8 year old female Schnauzer) and Cito (7 year old male MinPin) came to Rebel Dogs after their owner sadly had a debilitating illness and passed away. The owner’s family member could not accommodate for any more dogs at their home. This pair have been together since they were puppies. They are crate and potty trained, easy going upper middle aged dogs. Both enjoy napping all day by your lap and burrowing under blankets. They also enjoy walks and being pet. Though weary of strangers, they are very loving to their caretakers. Diamond and Cito's ideal family is one that can feed them soft foods for the rest of their life, be careful about large pieces foods that can choke them if it falls to the floor, with older children or none; live in an area without a lot of activity to startle them. And, of course, someone who has the capacity to groom the schnauzer or can afford grooming. Diamond came to the rescue with advanced gingivitis and all her teeth had to be removed. Cito only has one tiny tooth left. They are both essentially toothless and have to be fed soft foods for the rest of their life. They get along with other calm dogs. Our adoption fee for bonded pairs is $550 - including up-to-date vaccines, microchips, all dental work. They are spayed and neutered. Please apply through our website: rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Diamond and Cito, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
