He desires a home with a securely fenced yard. I wish for a family! Tex is a male 2 yr old (26 Sep 2021) 50 lb Border Collie/Terrier mix. He is an energetic, affectionate pup that likes other dogs his size and LOVES humans. He loves toys, bones, dog beds and doggie blankets. He is a great companion for an active family with a secure fence, polite/ calm children and another dog (or only dog but with constant socializing with other dogs). Large breed experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog. He will like walks and dog training/doggie daycare. No apartments or rentals. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate.
