My story

Simon says `Adopt me!` A Dachshund mix estimated to be 5 years old, sweet Simon is a wallflower kind of guy that appreciates when humans allow him to build trust with them first before jumping head-first into a relationship. We feel you, Simon, first dates are important! To make Simon feel comfortable we make sure to not use any threatening body language like reaching over his head, or reaching for him before he`s comfortable. We reinforce his bravery with sweet talk and the quickest way to gain his trust—yummy food incentives. After that initial date, Simon is a wonderful dog that is very trusting of his person. In our park, he sniffs, explores, rolls all over the grass, and comes back to lean on your legs to ask for pets. Truly a sweet and friendly pup indeed.
