My story

Arashi Female -- spayed Domestic shorthair – black Estimated DOB – August 2, 2018 Hi, everyone! I’m Arashi, and I came to Tigerlily with my three daughters when they were just wee babies. I was a wonderfully caring mommy cat, and I took great care of my girls, even when we lived outside. Then we came to foster care, and I could finally relax! My kittens got a wonderful home together, and now I hope that it can be my turn. I can still be shy at times, and I’m not always too sure about my foster mom petting me when I don’t expect it (wet food is the way to my heart). I do love the housecat life, though! I sleep on my foster mom’s bed -- including while she’s in it -- and spend lots of time birdwatching and playing with my toy collection. My favorites are the laser pointer, mousie toys, and the feather stick. I’m enjoying the life I should have always had! I get along really well with my foster siblings, and I’m respectful if they need their space. I am a wonderful companion cat, and I would like to find a forever home with a friendly kitty or two like my foster brothers. They help me be more confident around people, and they will snuggle up with me for a good cuddle. I’ve used my momcat bathing skills on them, but their stripes just won’t come off! My forever family should know that it might take me some time to warm up to them, and I might always be timid around people I don’t know. But I’m a delightful cat and will make a great friend for another kitty! My foster mom says I’m better behaved than my foster siblings, and she tells me that I’m a beautiful girl, too.
