My story

Sandy has been through a lot of change in her short life, but now that she’s overcome some bumps in the road she’s ready to find her forever home! She’d love to spend her days alternating among snuggling on the couch (her former foster described her as the perfect foot warmer!), going on walks, and engaging in mental enrichment activities such as puzzle feeders or snuffle mats. A true fashionista, Sandy even loves to bundle up in coats and sweaters during cold Chicago winters! Sandy is sometimes selective with other dogs, so she might like to be the only canine member of your household, and she might benefit from an adopter committed to training her and helping her feel comfortable on walks. If you live in a household with adults and older children, you might be Sandy’s perfect match!
