My story

Benny is the best; he's a sweet, clever, eager-to-please dog who loves walks, burrowing under blankets, and spending time with his humans. He is house/crate trained, great on leash, and loves people. Benny came into our care after a horrible incident with his previous owners that left him with burn scars down his back. Since then, Benny has been thriving in a foster home in New York City. While Benny prefers the company of humans over other pets, he's gradually improving when encountering other dogs. Patience, love, and understanding will go a long way in helping him become even more comfortable! After all he's endured, we are looking for a special adopter who can give Benny the love he deserves.
