My story

If your application is approved, you will be required to come to us to pick up your dog.** Maggie is about 10 years old. We believe she is a Min Pin Chihuahua mix, but as she was picked up as a stray, we're not totally sure. She's a small girl, and don't let her age fool you, she is very active! She conquered the doggy door, ramp to the couch, and the steps to the bed in nothing flat. She is fine with the other foster pets, including the cat! We're not sure how she would do with children, but she may be okay with older children. As she has settled in, she no longer seems to be a threat to run. She has stepped out of an open door a few times and stays close and can easily be picked up. She loves walking on a leash and heads for the door as soon as I tell her "let's go home." She will do well as an only dog or part of the pack. Someone is going to get a very fine dog if they adopt this sweetheart. Her adoption fee is $150 and she is located in the St. Louis, MO (Salem, IL) area.
