My story

Braden is back at the SF SPCA, and while he’s still adjusting, we know there’s a gentle heart beneath that quiet exterior. Right now, Braden is very shy and not yet ready to seek out human attention - but we believe in his potential to come around with time, patience, and a peaceful home environment.He’s the kind of cat who prefers observing from a distance, taking in the world from the safety of a cozy hiding spot. But shy doesn’t mean unloving - it just means Braden needs someone who understands that trust is built slowly, one small step at a time. With the right person, he’ll learn that gentle voices and kind hands aren’t so scary after all.If you’ve got a calm home and a kind heart, Braden may be the quiet companion you didn’t know you were missing. Earning the trust of a cat like him is one of the most rewarding experiences in the world - and we think he’s worth every moment of the wait.
