My story

Melody is shy with new people and even her fosters but patience and love eventually wins her over if you are calm in your approach. Then she will allow petting. She’s a year and a half old and a tripod (a rear leg had to be amputated prior to rescue after she was hit by a car. She’s doing fabulous and very active and is not special needs. Melody would do best in the company of another cat or cats in a forever home. No young kids. A patient, cat savvy adopter who loves shy and harder to adopt cats. An adopter who is able to give her the time she needs to adjust to a new home.
