My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Sasha is a 4 - 5 year old Bichon Frise looking for her new life to begin.  Sasha was freed from a breeder and is happy that her puppy days are over.  Sasha is a happy dog, and she has already come a long way in her foster home from when she arrived.  She is still a bit timid initially but once you bend down and extend your hand, she comes running over to give kisses and get some pets!  She has learned from the other dogs in her foster home that people aren't so scary!  She is very affectionate and attention-seeking with people now.   Sasha knows what it means when we say outside and she actually likes to be out there.  She also uses pee pads in her foster home.  She has not been introduced to walking on a leash yet so she will require a fully fenced yard in her new home (no invisible or portable fences). Sasha is good with other dogs and likes to cuddle up with them.  There are no issues with cats either.  Sasha will play with toys which just makes her foster mom smile!  She loves chewies too.  Sasha is crate trained and can also be gated for longer period of times.  She is not destructive, just give her some toys and cow hooves and she will be fine,   Sasha sometimes struggles to walk past people still but once you give her a little space, she is fine and more confident. This is most noticeable when it's time to come inside so it may be a bit of a struggle to get her inside initially.    She has come a long way and has progressed so much - she likes going to our events and meeting new people!  Although she always has her eyes on her foster mom, we know that love and affection will be transferred to a new person/family.  She has been around kids 12+ and did just fine.   She is a happy dog that has a playful spirit.  When she gets excited, she will bark at her foster mom in a happy manner!  Sasha got a good report card at the groomer too.  She will require regular grooming throughout her life so please keep that in mind.  We are so happy with her progress and know she is on the verge of blossoming in her forever home! Sasha is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She has also had a dental and has been professionally groomed.  Her adoption fee is $450   Star has been sponsored for $50 and her adoption fee is now $400!  Thank you!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:29 am
