My story

Bailey went on an ExPAWdition! Let`s see how it went:` She was wonderful! She is very smart, you can see her watching a tv show about puppies very intently, lol and she watched for a while. She was very friendly, sweet and did tricks (sit, lay, and shake) we were mostly inside, except for outside potty breaks. She did not bark at all, even when she saw people or other dogs. She seems like a quiet, moderately active, good girl.`Meet Baily – A Sweetheart Ready for Her Second ChanceBreed: American Pit Bull Terrier Mix Age: 4 Years Size: Medium-LargeBaily is a 4-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. Originally adopted from our shelter, Baily was recently exigently surrendered in the field to Animal Welfare under unknown circumstances. Though her past is uncertain, what we do know is that she’s an incredibly sweet and deserving dog who’s ready for a fresh start.*Personality*Baily is affectionate, gentle, and loves being around people. She especially shines with children — she’s patient and kind, making her a wonderful potential family companion. All she wants is love and a soft place to land.*Pets & Compatibility*Baily previously struggled with her dog sibling, so we do not recommend placing her in a home with other pets. However, the shelter is willing to do dog-to-dog meet and greets to assess potential compatibility. Her behavior with cats is currently unknown. She would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can be the center of attention and finally receive the consistent love and stability she’s been missing.*Ideal Home*Baily is looking for a committed, loving home that can offer her routine, exercise, and affection. In return, she’ll offer endless loyalty, gentle companionship, and lots of tail wags.Baily has been through a lot, but she hasn`t let it dim her sweet spirit. She`s ready to love and be loved. Come meet this beautiful girl and give her the second chance she truly deserves.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bailey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
