MIA Mia has had quite the journey this year. Not one that any dog would like to have. Our goal is to ensure that Mia’s journey ends with a forever loving home. She is so very deserving! Mia’s backstory: Mia had a home earlier this year but her owner sadly passed away. She was rehomed to another gentlemen who only had her 3 days before she was on the run. A neighbor caring for his plants the day she got out asked for HARTT’s help. It took approximately 10 days with sighting of her out in the desert to successfully get her safely. At the time of her trapping her new owner had gone out of town, had a stroke and a couple weeks later succumbed from the complications. Mia was homeless again. After spending time with a HARTT volunteer a foster was found and Paws 4 A Cause took her into rescue. Mia was in a foster for a short time but as she bonded with the humans her fondness of the other dogs became less. Due to this Mia came back to the HARTT volunteers house. About Mia: Mia is a healthy German Shepard/Husky mix. She is estimated to be ? years old. She weighs approximately XX pounds. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Mia is a lover of all people. She is happy just to be with her people. It is recommended in her new home that any kids in the household be older. This is only due to the fact that Mia does not realize her size and can jump up when excited. Because of her bond with humans it is recommended that Mia be an only dog. She has more than enough love to give! Mia is leashed trained, house trained, and dog door trained. Has a couple tricks as well such as sit, stay and shake. She would prefer not to be in a kennel and is non destructive when left to be on her own. Mia would great with any single owner or family! Please consider giving Mia her forever home and closing out her chapter of being homeless.
