My story

Hello my name is Sasha, I was roaming the streets with my mom Anya for several weeks, until Anya found our now foster mom. At first I actually kept on walking, not believing Anya's instincts about our foster moms house. Well turns out Anya was right, and now we get fed daily as well as get walked 2-3 miles. They say a tired dog is a happy dog, they don't dig, excessive bark, or tare up your house. I can say that is very true, after 2-weeks I have not tried to escape. Our foster mom already figured out I love love love having my ears massaged. I am a little more aloof than Anya. I think the disappointment of being dumped so many times, it just takes me a little longer to trust you. I love to play with other dogs, and just recently had a puppy show me how to play with dog toys. Up to now I had no idea what to do with them. It is best I do not have a dog toy in my kennel nor a bed, I will tare them up when I get bored....actually its just my way of saying I need exercise and or I am bored. I may be more on the aloof side however I do like being wherever my foster mom is. Just like Anya I need to put on some weight, however I eat very calmly. Playing with other dogs is one of my favorite things to do, as well as going on walks. Due to me being only 2-years old, my energy is a bit higher, so currently my foster mom has me walking with a weighted backpack, which holds an 6lbs. This helps a lot because foster mom can burn my energy just walking 2 miles instead of 3 or 4 miles a day. I do have prey drive so if a cat or a squirrel tease me I do want to chase them. It is much fun going places with foster mom or having her friends dog come over for romper time. We already are learning some basic obedience and will sit for our food bowls, treats or to come out of our playpen. Of course, Anya and I tell foster mom to hurry up classic husky. I do picture my forever home ideally to be with Anya, but if not daily walks or runs are a must as well as lots of ear rubs. Having another dog or dogs to play with is another hope of mine or have doggie daycare friends. I will be neutered soon. I am heartworm negative, up to date on my shots and prefer a playpen over a kennel. I will take a tile floor over a plushy dog bed any day, so don't worry about spending money on a expensive dog bed. I do hope you may be interested in adopting Anya she is my bestie. You can find her bio here....
