Scruffy

My story

Meet Scruffy - AKA - mighty dog. Scruffy is a very sweet and friendly 8 yr old male West Highland Terrier/ Maltese aka Highland Maltie. He gets along well with older children and other dogs but tends to bark at large dogs.  He is not good with cats.  This spunky little guy loves to run and play - chasing a ball in the yard or playing with a squeaky toy are two of his favorite pastimes. Scruffy loves having a fenced in yard at his foster home - he enjoys being outside as much as possible. He has tons of energy for running and jumping - he may actually have springs in his legs!  Scruffy also loves to get cozy and snuggle up on the couch or in bed. He’s happy to be near you - to check in for pets and loves - and then he can relax at the foot of the bed or at the other end of the couch. He has a big personality squeezed into his little body and would do best with another active dog who likes to play or as an only dog.
