My story

Codie - Codie is a 3 year old super sweet lab mix that has been in foster care his whole life, patiently waiting for his forever family. His sister, Roxxie, was with us as well, but she was adopted this past year to a wonderful family. Codie loves to go on walks and loves the dog park & being around other pups. He is very shy at first with humans and other pups, but it just takes him a little time to warm up. He just has to make sure he can trust you. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He loves snacks and cheese. That's the way to his heart. He is fully crate trained and potty trained. If there was ever a dog that was autistic, I believe Codie to be. He is so smart and has really come out of his shelter but it really does take time. He would love to live in his kennel if I would let him, but I won't. It's going to take a special family who will take the time with him. He would thrive with another pup to lead the way. He follows Snoop around and steals all the toys and loves to grab things in the house to take to his kennel. 😂 If you are missing something, he usually has it. He is so sweet and so funny. Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
