My story
Romeo is a 15 year old male DSH who was dumped in a shopping cart inside PetSmart with a note from his previous owner saying that they were moving and could not take Romeo. We were able to confirm his age through his microchip (numbers on the microchip account were no longer in service). Bloodwork revealed that Romeo has chronic kidney disease, but we were able to rule out other senior cat issues like diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and high blood pressure. Romeo is on a special diet for his kidney disease, and is looking for a hospice home to live out the rest of his life.
