My story

` Meet Prince! A sweet 5-year-old male dog who has been with his foster family for about a month. Despite being overlooked for several months at the shelter, he’s proven to be an absolute gem—quiet, friendly, and full of gentle affection. Prince enjoys lounging around as a true couch potato, perfectly content in a calm home environment where he can relax next to his humans. He sleeps comfortably in his dog bed right beside the bed of his foster family, soaking up the cozy vibes and peaceful surroundings.A standout quality of Prince is how much he looks up to and learns from the resident dog. He carefully observes behavior and takes cues from the confident female corgi who sets boundaries and helps keep him in check. Although he hasn’t been around cats or children yet, his mellow and submissive personality suggests he would adapt well to a family with kids or feline friends. He’s well-behaved on walks, pulling only a little when excited by other dogs, but for the most part he just wants to sniff and explore. Prince is wonderfully crate-trained! He goes in with treats and settles down quickly and remains quiet until his humans return. This curious, sweet boy even enjoys playing with tennis balls and chew toys, and even knows tricks (sit & lay down). He has been slowly learning to love water, he is held in the pool to keep him cooled off while hanging out and enjoying life with his foster family and even got to dog paddle over to the steps. Overall, Prince is the perfect blend of calm and cuddly, with just enough energy to bring joy and warmth to any home lucky enough to adopt him.`
