My story

Mounds is a big boy! He is still getting used to people. He may shy away a bit when first approached, but if you are slow and gentle with him, he loves pets - especially chin scratches! He also will let you rub his belly. If startled or with quick movements he may react with a hiss or swat at you. He is still getting adjusted to being picked up, but as long as you are petting him he will tolerate that for a bit. Mounds does not react toward other animals. With time he will likely enjoy quality lap time or sitting beside you on a couch.Mounds has tested for positive for FIV.FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) is a widely misunderstood condition. Many people think that it’s easily spread, makes cats very sick, and that they have a lower life expectancy, so they are not often adopted. This is far from the truth!Should you adopt an FIV cat?
