Duffi is a very kind, cool, curious, and collected cat. She loves to sleep right next to her foster parents with the occasional nap right on our chests if she's feeling cuddly! Make sure to scratch her chin during her cuddly moments! Most of the time, wherever you are, she'll go. She loves to take a seat and watch whatever activity her foster parent is doing, whether that's cooking, eating, or working. During play times with her foster parent, Duffi loves watching Tiger Lily play from a distance, taking a casual swipe whenever the toy gets close. She loves to be included even if she's not chasing the toy around like Tiger Lily. Duffi also loves quiet, dark spaces way up high! If there's an empty shelf in your closet, you'll occasionally find her sleeping there. If you're in bed and lift up the comforters, she'll crawl into the sheets and sleep between your legs. She is very curious and her chosen method of interacting with the world is to paw at things: she paws at you, paws at toys, paws at water to drink. She loves being in high up spaces where she can sleep or observe what's happening down below. This kitty needs another young female for a companion, and we’d like to suggest our Tiger Lily to be paired with her! They've bonded in the time that they've shared a foster home and would make great lifelong companions in their forever home. If you would like to meet and possibly adopt this amazing feline, please email info@chicagocatrescue.org or call 773/203-0215. No texts, please. Please be aware that inquiries may not be answered if they are regarding our kittens or cats as singles, whether they are half of a bonded pair, or we have noted that they are not intended to be a single cat. Likewise, if your home is outside of our adoption boundaries, we may not be able to reply to your inquiry. CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home. At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone. Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home. Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Duffi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
