My story

Patches is a loving, gentle soul with a soft spot for his fellow feline friends. While he may take some time to warm up to new people, once he trusts you, he will show you just how sweet and affectionate he can be. He isn’t a lap cat, but he enjoys being pet and will happily soak up attention on his own terms. Since he can sometimes feel nervous, Patches appreciates having a safe space to retreat to—a cozy hideaway under a bed or a comfy nook in a cat tree where he can relax and recharge. One thing is certain: Patches is a social butterfly when it comes to other cats! He absolutely adores the company of his kitty companions and wouldn’t be happy as a solo cat. He thrives in a home with feline friends to play, cuddle, and explore with. Whether it’s hanging out with kittens or bonding with older cats, Patches is happiest when he’s surrounded by his furry buddies. Because he enjoys a peaceful environment, Patches would do best in a quiet home, preferably with adults or older, cat-savvy children who understand his need for space and gentle affection. He can be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, he will reward his humans with love and trust. One of Patches' biggest motivators? Food! He is hugely food-driven and will happily become your best friend if you offer him something tasty—especially ham. Treats are a great way to earn his trust and bring out his playful, silly side! He also has a fun, energetic streak and loves chasing wand toys, pouncing on fuzzy toys, and darting after laser pointers. He enjoys watching "cat TV" and can often be found wandering the house with his foster mom’s resident cat, keeping her company. Patches has so much love to give—he's just waiting for the right, patient home to understand his needs and let him blossom at his own pace.
