My story

DELTA If you are looking for a new best friend, then Delta is the girl for you! She is a 3 year old, gorgeous Lab with perhaps a touch of Golden retriever in her pedigree. Delta came to us from a local shelter. She looked really bad at the time and we were worried if we could save her. It took a couple of months, but Delta is healthy and stunning now! She was in heat, which really takes it out of a girl. Now Delta has been spayed, vaccinated, is on heartworm prevention and has a clean bill of health! Delta loves to play with her special ball. She throws it up in the air and pounces on it like a puppy! She loves to play with other dogs, too. We do not recommend her for a home with cats... she thinks they are just squeaky toys to chase and play with, too! Delta is house broken, crate trained and well behaved. She has free run of her foster home. She is apparently a good trainer, too.... she taught all of the kids to put their shoes away! Delta loves to carry shoes around, but does not tear them up. Delta sleeps quietly on her bed at night. Delta is being fostered in a home with kids and is well behaved and gentle with them. She will be a great buddy for kids 6 years and up. Since Delta loves to play in the yard, we are looking for a home with a fenced back yard for her to romp in.
