My story

Please be patient, we have 80+ animals on the property and they come first, we try to get back to everyone quickly, it may be 4-5 days. Meet Marble, she is approx 3-4yrs old, spayed female. Marble was abandoned in the woods in Yamhill County, she was left to fend for herself, by her body condition and how sick she became, we believe she was in the woods for at least a week or longer. Luckily she was found by a Good Samaritan and brought in. Within a few days of arriving, Marble became very sick, she was already under weight and truly had no fat to lose. Medical treatment was started, but she wasn't getting any better, we ran blood work which was normal, she was Parbo negative, so we started sitting with her, lying on the concrete floor, so she wasn't alone, we believe although she was sick, she was dying of a broken heart and all the medical treatment in the world cannot fix that. So we laid with her, we loved her, we gave her kisses and hugs and brought her toys. We started to see a change and she began eating well, gaining weight and she began to talk and bark and play. She has had a few months to recover medically and emotionally and we think she may be ready for a new home. She has not been cat tested, she has played with a 65 pound dog, she doesn't like small dogs, she prefers to take her time using the restroom, so she needs a private yard. She deserves a home that will love her forever and she can go on car rides and be a true member of the family. My adoption fee is $150. 1. Do you own or rent? 2. Can you provide a letter from your landlord stating you can have a Pitbull Mix? She is not an apartment dog. 3. Do you have a fenced yard? 4. How many people and age groups live in your home? 5. How many animals and types? 6. Can you give her time, training, behavior modification, activity outside the home and patience?
