My story

Hiya. My name is Coco. I am around 4 years old and 45 pounds. I was pretty scared when I first got here, but I have been working hard on gaining confidence. Staff and volunteers have spent a lot of time with me to help me become brave and feel safe! Now I enjoy hanging around people and getting love and attention. I can get a little jumpy seeking affection, but I`m working on it! Right now I need a home without young children. I did arrive at the shelter with other dogs, so I might be dog friendly with a slow and proper introduction. I hope you give me a chance and ask to meet me! This animal is staying in a foster home and is not at the shelter. Please fill out the adoption application and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the animal.**Please apply on our website at www.indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. Go to the website, click on the adoption application link, enter the information and hit submit. Once you have submitted your application please visit the shelter to speak with a member of our adoption staff. You can include multiple animals you are interested in on one application.
