My story

Meet Sadie? Meet 4.5-month-old female puppy, Sadie. She’s a beautiful 26-pound Dutch Shepherd rescued from a backyard breeder in Bakersfield along with her three other siblings. She’s incredibly loving, intelligent, playful, and happy. Sadie does well with other dogs, although initially, she is a little scared since she hasn't had much exposure to the outside world before coming to our rescue. She is very timid around people at first and needs time to warm up. Sadie is almost potty trained and sleeps on a dog bed or in her crate by the foster's bed the whole night through. She will be a fantastic addition to any loving family wanting a puppy Shepherd to add to their family. Sadie received her wellness exam, fecal test, first puppy boosters, and deworming. When she is old enough, she will be spayed as well. If you are interested in meeting adorable Sadie, please submit a completed adoption application found under the forms tab. If adoption isn't an option, please consider fostering one of our  pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome  new short or long-term doggie foster families. We much appreciate the  help and time of our fosters.
