My story

If tall, bark + handsome are your thing, you might want to swipe right and say hello to Buckeye. This charming middled gentlemen came to Sky Sanctuary after being discovered living in the middle of the desert in an encampment with 160 other animals. Its was 114 degrees out there and he, along with the others, were not receiving the care that they deserved. Needless to say, he was relieved to get the heck out of there. So, now that you know a little about his past, let’s talk about his future. Buckeye is so ready to meet “the one”— that family that is going to love him as much as he is sure to love you. At about 8 years old, this Buckeye has so much life a head of him. A few of his favorite things are peanut butter, burrowing under the blankets + other animals. The only thing we could really think of that he dislikes are loud noises, but can we blame him? After all he’s been through he deserves to settle down with “the one”, enjoy a walk and kick back to listen to his favorite Johnny Cash album. He felt it was important I included that last one. But seriously, this dog is just wonderful. He is extremely loyal, handsome + so eager to please. As we are a foster based rescue the application is required to schedule a meet and greet.
