My story

Honey has overcome tremendous challenges after a traumatic event left her with a spinal fracture and a front leg injury, resulting in partial paralysis. Despite these setbacks, Honey’s spirit is unwavering—she adores everyone she meets and has a special fondness for her snuffle mat! Today, Honey is embracing life with enthusiasm, enjoying her custom wheelchair, which enables her to participate in daily rehabilitation sessions. She also delights in wagon rides, where she gets to explore the world around her. When Honey first came to us, she was unable to sit up without assistance and could only move her head. But with dedicated care and her own fierce determination, she has made remarkable progress, building strength and muscle in other parts of her body. Although she will never regain full use of her other limbs, Honey’s zest for life is truly inspiring. Due to her medical needs, Honey needs to be expressed 4 times daily. Honey is a joyful girl with a vibrant personality. She’s searching for a family who will see beyond her physical limitations and embrace the boundless love and happiness she has to give.
