My story

MEET WILLY! This sweet little guy is named Willy! Willy is a senior terrier mix who was brought to a local shelter after being found as a stray. He's spent some time in a loving foster home through City of Elderly Love where we've had a chance to know his sweet little personality. Willy is now ready to land the perfect retirement home for his golden years. We're not entirely sure how old Willy is since he was a stray but we'd guess somewhere around 12 years old. He's got a laid back personality and while loves his walks and exploring the yard, he spends most of the day testing out which spot is the comfiest and then taking a snooze. He's happy to hang out quietly while you're working but he's also always down for cuddles on the couch when you're done! Willy lives for snacks. He's always up for a treat and never misses a meal. He's currently in foster care with other dogs and cats and gets along with them famously! He'd likely prefer a quieter home in his later years so we'd recommend a home without small children. Willy has been fully vetted since coming to the rescue including having a benign mass removed and having a dental cleaning. When he came to the rescue, he was treated for a urinary tract infection. Willy does wear belly band diapers to avoid having accidents in the house but he is great about having them put on/changed. Willy is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love.
