Kinsey is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH)-mix, female, DOB: 7/15/22 Kinsey came to Monroe SPCA as an emergency intake at just 6 weeks of age, found lying in the middle of the road by a Fedex driver who, not knowing where else to turn, brought her to us. She was placed in an emergency medical foster home where she was treated for URI, eye infections, ear mites/ear infections, malnutrition, Giardia, Coccidia, fleas, and Tape and Roundworm. Now a happy, healthy feline, Kinsey is looking for her forever home with a family who can give her the time and attention a special girl like her needs. Because of her limited sight, she is a special needs feline, however she goes through her daily activities with relative ease. Kinsey is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a calm, low-active to moderately active lifestyle and no active young children under the age of six (6). She's comfortable with other compatible cats and kittens, and she’ll be comfortable in the presence of well-mannered, cat-friendly dogs after being given some adjustment time to warm-up and settle into her new surroundings. As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable animals, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption. Raisin currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet her by appointment with pre-approved adoption application. To start the adoption process, complete and submit Monroe SPCA’s adoption application linked above. All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped with lifelong registration prior to adoption. Completed applications can be emailed to info@monroespca.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store located at 293 W. Monroe Street, Dundee, MI. For more information message us on Facebook or email info@monroespca.org.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kinsey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
