My story

Griff has had a rough start in life. One of our long time volunteers found him tied to a tree in horrible shape. We took him in to Apollo and got him medical attention. He is young, confused and the shelter noises make him very anxious. He is the cutest and quirkiest pup that would make someone laugh and have a lot of fun. We took care of his medical needs and all he has is a little bit of hair loss. That just makes him more special. At less than a year old Griff has suffered abandonment and neglect. We hope for an active family willing to love him and train him with patience and understanding of his horrible past. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He is anxious at the rescue and it’s been difficult making a clear determination if he is dog reactive or not. We believe once outside of the noise and with proper decompression time he could tolerate other dogs.
