My story

Meet Tango, a spirited fellow whose journey brought him to our shelter after giving our officers quite the run for their money as a stray. Tango can make a high-pitched "noise" that's challenging to describe but bound to make you laugh. We are genuinely surprised that Tango hasn't been adopted yet. He's been with us since February. Tango is the handsome goofball you've been searching for, and he's ready to bring a bundle of joy and excitement to your life. This all-around wonderful dog is already housebroken and is a certified goofball. He comes off as super energetic, but calms down once he realizes you're there to stay. We could see him thriving in a variety of settings. He's a big-hearted boy who's currently enjoying the company of other dogs at our shelter, showcasing his sociable nature. Note: Kennel stress is a generic term used for when dogs encounter a state of mental or emotional strain and tension during a kennel stay. Every situation is different and every dog’s experience will be unique. In most cases, it will take your dog some time to get adjusted to their new environment. Whether you rescue an older dog or a puppy, a lot of dogs tend to follow the 3-3-3 rule when getting acclimated: 3 days of feeling overwhelmed and nervous, 3 weeks of settling in, and 3 months of building trust and bonding with you.
