Marilyn and Monroe are a bonded pair Born to the alleyways of Long Beach, Marilyn and sister, Monroe, are now princesses of the indoor lifestyle. They love high quality meals, soft plush furniture (big big fans of Sherpa quality sleep bedding,) and personalized catnip cat toys. They enjoy climbing high and really enjoy kitty shelves.  Play time with their foster mom brings out the energies of their ancestral roots! Marilyn is a hide an seek kinda gal, but when the laser toy appears…watchout! The huntress appears in full force! Monroe on the other hand, becomes the lioness when the wand toy comes out! She is tenacious and unstoppable! Jumping to heights only cats can reach, you’d never know she has a shy side in these moments. Both girls are quiet, and a bit shy at first, but zoomies are a big thing and they make themselves be known. Marilyn and Monroe brighten up the days. Play time between them is epic to watch, but sleep time together is angelic. Though it takes a little bit for them to warm up to new folks and new surroundings, they love, love, love affection. They each definitely have their own personalities. Marilyn is slowly working up to being a lap cat, and tolerates being held for short periods of time. She has a propensity toward having her little pink nose pet very gently, after which she will return the favor with kisses, and full body scratches are high on the list of likes. Monroe prefers pets and belly rubs…over being picked up, however with time she is working out her issues with human hugs, and is learning how to trust more and more. Monroe is inquisitive and thoughtful, where Marilyn is a “head first” kind of gal. Beautiful little angel, Marilyn, and her equally beautiful sister, Monroe, are a bonded pair of kitties. They must be adopted together. These girls will require your patience while they acclimate, and they will require a small room to start off in for a time before letting them venture out into the home. This will be a great way to get to know them better, and also for them to get to know you. They are not familiar with children nor dogs. A quiet, relaxing, safe, and loving home would best suit them. Appointments can not be made until we have a completed adoption application   We are a non profit 501(c)3 all volunteer no kill rescue.   All donations go directly to the cats medical bills, food, litter, toys and any other needs they have.
