John Henry

My story

John Henry is pure GOOD BOY! He loves snuggles, squeaker toys, rope toys, treats, and rolling in the grass. He’s an easy walker once he gets his excitement out. He loves to snuggle right up to his people for belly rubs. He just oozes love. John Henry is a sucker for a pup cup! This big boy needs a lap to nap on. This boy will return all of the love he is given, plus some. Don`t miss out on meeting him - currently at our main location. He recently went on an adventure outside the shelter with one of our wonderful volunteers. Here is what they had to say:`I took John Henry on DDO from Main. He’s pure bred GOOD BOY! I adore this guy. He did great in the car after he settled down and is an easy Walker once his excitement is out. We went to Loose Park and his favorite activities were rolling in the grass, playing tug, and people/dog watching. I laid in the grass with him and he snuggled right up for belly rubs. He never barked at any people, dogs, bikes or traffic. Just very curious. He is very treat motivated and takes them gently. Even took the treat bag out of my purse gently! We went for a hamburger and later a pup cup. He LOVED both. We also went back to my apartment and he walked right in like he knew the place and made himself at home for a bit. He is so trusting and oozes love and I hope that he finds his family soon!!`
