My story

**Yuji is Better World Rescue's longest resident and has been looking for a home for THREE YEARS. My name is Yuji and I hold the title as the longest resident at Better World Rescue. I have been looking for a home for THREE YEARS now. Pretty crazy right? I want to find the right person to take care of me soon and today I am hoping that person is you! I’m a big ol’ senior goofball who lives for grassy lawns, zoomies, and couch naps. Give me a yard to roll around in and I can spend eternity on it, being the happiest dog you’ll ever see. After I have expended all my energy, I’ll curl up right next to you and just chill. My life story’s been rough. I was hit by a car in Manteca and when my former family found out over the phone, they surrendered me instead of taking me back. Better World Rescue gave me a home to rehabilitate and now I am fully healed and ready to take my love to another family! I know a lot of basic commands, and I’m also great in the car! I’d do best as an only dog since I like to keep food and toys to myself. For walks, I’m still working on walking more calmly since I can get pretty excited. I’ve been told that my little prance is adorable, though. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to ensure a successful adoption.
